Fantasy Cities
Fantasy cities are probably my most specialized form of illustrations. I draw a lot of inspiration from historical cartography, especially from the style of Willem Blaeu as expressed in Fredrik de Wit’s 17th century city maps, combined with a more modern approach. In 2016 my city illustrations were awarded the cartographers guilds Annual Award and in 2018 a Cartographers Choice award.
